1. On the new display Mac, open Second Display and choose Use this Mac as a display.

  2. On the Mac you work on, click Add Display… in the menu or in Settings › Display.

  3. Follow the Cable, Connect and Speed test steps for the new Mac.

With more than one display, the menu lists them under Displays, each with its own switch and status line. Open a display’s row to choose its resolution and quality.

To remove a Mac you no longer use, select it in Settings › Display and click Forget This Display…. Second Display removes its settings and its remembered arrangement.
