Open Second Display on each Mac you work on and connect it to the same iMac, over a cable or the same network. There’s nothing to pair.
- With one Mac connected, its picture fills the iMac’s screen.
- With several, the iMac shows their windows side by side. Make any of them full screen with the window’s green button.
- A Mac that connects later never takes over another Mac’s window: it gets a window of its own.
Because there’s no pairing, any Mac running Second Display on the same cable or network can show its screen on your iMac. Use Wi‑Fi and Ethernet on networks you trust. How your screen travels
