Product events
Both Macs record product events, such as “setup finished”, “a display connected” or “the speed test recommended High”, so we can learn which features work and which need fixing. They never contain your email, the names of your Macs or of people, network addresses, or anything on your screen. They are processed by Google Analytics for Firebase and are always on. There are no ads, and we don’t sell or share your data for advertising.
Logs and diagnostics
Logs stay on your Mac. They reach us only if you export diagnostics and send them to us yourself, and they never include your screen or your sign-in. Send diagnostics
This website
This website uses Google Analytics only if you allow it: it counts visits, Support searches, clicks on Download and Buy, sign-ins on the account page and purchases. Until you choose Allow, nothing from Google loads and no cookie is set. You can change your choice at any time in Analytics settings, at the bottom of every page. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses.
Your data
For a copy of your data, a correction or its deletion, write to privacy. The details are in the privacy policy.
